We are looking for a proactive Junior Project Manager to join our European team and help deliver critical inspection projects across onshore and offshore sites. If you are eager to build a career in the renewable energy sector with a company that values initiative and flexibility, this is your opportunity.

The Role

As a Junior Project Manager, you will be at the heart of our project delivery, ensuring that our inspection services run smoothly from start to finish. This customer-facing position will see you working closely with leading developers and OEMs across the European wind and solar markets. You will coordinate the deployment of our advanced inspection equipment and technicians, adapt to evolving plans, and keep every project detail meticulously on track. Based near Plymouth, Devon, you will work primarily from home but will meet regularly with your team in person to stay connected and aligned.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of inspection services for onshore and offshore wind farms across the UK and EU
  • Coordinate and support all logistics, scheduling, and execution for technician and equipment deployment
  • Maintain project management tools and software daily to ensure accurate planning and real-time visibility
  • Complete essential administrative duties, including daily progress reports and project documentation
  • Generate and distribute clear project reports to the wider team and key stakeholders
  • Provide support to colleagues within the Project Management team and back up other Project Managers when needed

What You'll Need

  • Experience in operations, logistics, or a similar coordination-focused role
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Google Sheets/Docs, and Microsoft Office, including Teams
  • Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills with high attention to detail
  • A self-starter mindset, comfortable working independently and adapting quickly to changing priorities
  • The ability to switch seamlessly between high-level long-term planning and fast-moving project execution
  • Fluency in English, with the ability to manage competing interests while meeting tight deadlines

Ideally, you will also bring experience or understanding in one or more of the following areas: wind energy or renewables, drone or aviation regulations, marine logistics, international customer relations, or process control and quality systems. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, IOSH Managing Safely training, or fluency in another European language such as German or Spanish would be a real advantage.

What's On Offer

  • Salary of £36,000 to £40,000 per annum
  • A clear path to build your career in the fast-growing renewable energy sector
  • Work-from-home flexibility with regular in-person team collaboration near Plymouth
  • A dynamic schedule: 15 days on / 13 days off from February to October, with Monday to Friday office hours during the winter months
  • The chance to work with a global leader in inspection technology and robotics
If you combine strong organisational ability with a genuine desire to make an impact in renewable energy, we want to hear from you. Take the next step in your career and apply today to join our team at SkySpecs.
