Office Administrator – Independent Fostering Agency | Slough, Berkshire | Full Time | Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–5:00 pm | £24,000–£26,000 per annum DOE

They are seeking a reliable, organised and professional Office Administrator to join their team at their established Outstanding-rated independent fostering agency in Slough.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has previous office administration experience and also has a background or qualification in Health & Social Care, Social Work or a related field.
The Role
You will provide day-to-day administrative support to our fostering agency, helping the office run smoothly and ensuring that records, correspondence and documentation are maintained to a high standard.
You will work closely with our social work and fostering teams and will play an important role in supporting the wider organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing general administrative and office support
- Maintaining accurate electronic and paper records
- Preparing documents, reports, letters and correspondence
- Supporting the social work and fostering teams with administrative tasks
- Managing emails, telephone calls and general enquiries professionally
- Organising meetings, appointments and office schedules
- Maintaining confidential information in accordance with data protection requirements
- Assisting with monitoring and maintaining compliance records
- Supporting the team with audits, reports and regulatory documentation
- Ensuring the office remains organised, professional and welcoming
Requirements
Essential
- Has previous office administration experience
- Is highly organised and able to manage competing priorities
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Is confident using Microsoft Office and general IT systems
- Is professional, reliable and approachable
- Understands the importance of confidentiality and safeguarding
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Is comfortable working in a busy social care environment
- Lives locally to Slough or within a reasonable commuting distance
Desirable
- Has a qualification or experience in Health & Social Care, Social Work or a related discipline
- Experience within social care, fostering, children's services, healthcare or a similar regulated environment
