Educational Psychologist | London / Home Counties | Full Time or Part Time | Competitive Rates (typically two Soulbury points above local authority rates)
Working Pattern: Flexible, with 1, 2 or 3 days per week considered
Our client is an established private educational psychology practice providing EHCP assessments, private cognitive assessments and bespoke support to schools and families. The practice works with families, schools, local authorities and legal firms, with a strong reputation for high-quality reports, flexible assessment dates and meeting evidence deadlines.
With an existing caseload and plans for gradual expansion, this is an excellent opportunity for an Educational Psychologist seeking flexible working, professional autonomy and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference to children and young people.
The Role
As an Educational Psychologist, you will carry out assessments, work within the EHCP system and produce high-quality reports, supporting children and young people across a varied caseload.
You will work with schools, parents and local authorities, with the opportunity to carry out some assessments remotely via video. Where attendance is required at a school or child’s home, approximately one hour of travel would typically be expected.
Caseloads are kept small, allowing you to give each case the time and attention it requires, while having the professional freedom to make recommendations that are genuinely in the client’s best interests.
You will also benefit from access to experienced senior professional guidance when needed, alongside opportunities for continuing professional development and additional training.
