Air Conditioning Maintenance Engineer (Trainee / Entry-Level)

Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm

Salary: £28,000–£32,000 per annum, depending on experience

Are you looking to start a career in the air conditioning industry? Our client is seeking a motivated, reliable and hands-on Maintenance Engineer to join their team, carrying out routine maintenance on domestic and commercial air conditioning systems across Oxfordshire and the surrounding counties.

Previous air conditioning experience is preferred but not essential. Applications are welcomed from candidates who are new to the industry but have experience in a similar hands-on role, such as electrical, mechanical, plumbing or general maintenance work.

No previous air conditioning experience or F-Gas qualification is required. With the right attitude and aptitude, this is an excellent opportunity to learn new skills, receive training and progress within the industry.

Are you the right person for the job?

• Previous air conditioning experience is preferred but not essential

• Experience in electrical, mechanical, plumbing or general maintenance work would be beneficial

• A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to learn

• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team

• A full, clean UK driving licence is essential

• A positive attitude and an interest in developing a career in air conditioning maintenance

What will your role look like?

• Carry out routine maintenance on domestic and commercial air conditioning systems

• Inspect equipment and check system operation

• Clean filters and ensure equipment is properly maintained

• Travel to customer sites, primarily across Oxfordshire and the surrounding counties

• Work independently and alongside colleagues to deliver a professional service

Please note: This is a maintenance-only position. There is no installation work or responsibility for carrying out repairs.
