A senior leadership hire inside a provider carrying an Outstanding rating. The rating is the constraint: whoever takes the role inherits responsibility for keeping it, so regulatory depth was not negotiable and neither was cultural fit.
53 candidates were worked and 11 interviewed by us, but only four were judged strong enough to present. All four were interviewed by the client.

53 candidates worked. Every one of the four presented was interviewed.
Four candidates presented, four interviewed. Against an Outstanding rating, a padded shortlist would have wasted the client’s time and risked the hire.
101 days for a role where getting it wrong carries a regulatory cost.

Frontline care attracts applications in volume, and that is the difficulty rather than the relief. The agency is small and family-run, its clients see the same faces every week, and a wrong hire is felt immediately by the people receiving care.
58 candidates were worked and 12 interviewed by us. Three were presented.

How the fee works
Every role on this page was delivered on the same basis: a fixed fee, agreed before we start, with no percentage of salary attached. The straightforward search and the difficult one cost the client the same.
That is the point of the model. A percentage fee charges you more for hiring a better-paid person and rewards us for the easy search. A fixed fee puts the risk of a long search where it belongs — with us. And if we do not fill the role, you get every penny of your fee back.
Every figure here comes from our own placement records. Clients and placed candidates are not named. Full detail on the model is on our Guaranteed Hire page.
