Founded in 1990, our client is a leading specialist in the Civils, Reinstatement and Utility sector. With an excellent reputation for quality and reliability, they provide installation, maintenance and civil engineering services to local authorities, utility companies and construction firms across the South of England.
They are a family-run business with a close-knit, team-focused working environment where colleagues work together across the business to keep operations running smoothly.
The Role
As a Planner, you will join a team of 6 and support the day-to-day planning requirements across utilities, civils and reinstatement. Reporting to the Planning Manager, you will work closely with the planning and operations teams to coordinate work, manage priorities and ensure deadlines are met.

The role involves direct contact with field teams via telephone and WhatsApp, monitoring work progress, resolving scheduling issues and ensuring teams have the materials required for planned works. You will also monitor photo compliance and maintain accurate job information and records using Salesforce and SWIMS.
The role is initially office-based 5 days per week while you complete your training, which is expected to take around one month. Once you and your line manager are confident with the role and systems, 1–2 days working from home will be introduced.
