Bench Hand Joiner | Wigan, Lancashire | Full Time | £14.50–£18.50 per hour
Our client is a leading commercial joinery manufacturer based in Wigan, Lancashire. They have developed a strong reputation for quality and service through their highly skilled and experienced workforce, combining traditional joinery methods with modern techniques such as CNC and CAD, supplying the commercial, leisure and high-end residential markets.
The Role
Due to expansion and increasing demand for the quality products produced, an excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Bench Hand Joiner to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling bespoke joinery products, including windows, doors, stairs and counters, while ensuring quality standards and drawing requirements are met.
The role is full-time and workshop-based, working Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:15 pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble bespoke joinery products including windows, doors, stairs and counters
- Ensure quality expectations are achieved in line with drawings and plans
- Ensure allocated operation times are achieved
- Follow personal health and safety requirements and those of colleagues
- Work to standard operating procedures and work instructions
- Identify and understand drawing requirements
- Take full ownership and responsibility for your work
