POSITION: UK Sales Account Manager

SALARY: Competitive, Depending on Experience

BENEFITS: Company Pension

HOURS: Full-time;Permanent. Monday through Friday, 09:00 to 17:30 in a professional office environment, with occasional out of hours work

LOCATION: Chiswick, London W4 4PH

DESCRIPTION:

Moving Mountains® Foods is a ground-breaking Food Technology company and one of the leading plant-based innovators in the world. They have launched the UK’s first ever meatless bleeding burger and are currently developing additional plant-based products. Available in the UK, US, Australia and Europe they are a SME brand with Blue-Chip ambitions. 

With a recent launch in to Sainsburys they are now looking for a UK Sales Account Manager to join their team.

 The Role of Grocery National Account Manager would involve the following: 

  • Creating business plans and managing P&L for different retailer accounts 

  • Work with the management team on the channel strategy including focus areas, pricing structure, promotional plan, trade marketing and much more 

  • Wining new business within Grocery from initial approach to negotiating contracts. Example target customers may include brands such as Tesco, Wholefoods and Asda 

  • Representing the business at trade and consumer events 

  • Sales materials preparation (with the Management Team) 

  • Planning and support of marketing initiatives to boost Sales (with Marketing Manager) 

  • Creating efficient relationships with key contacts across buying, supply chain, format teams and category 

To be a successful Grocery National Account Manager you will be: 

  • Flexible and proactive, thriving in a fast-paced environment

  • Experienced with full P&L and budgeting responsibility 

  • Significantly experienced in FMCG Sales 

  • Experienced in planning, delivering and executing sales strategy 

  • An excellent communicator, comfortable presenting in front of a large audience 

  • A leader by nature, passionate about spreading the message of your brand

  • Passionate about Food, Sustainability and Health in all senses of the word 

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
