Trainee Manager (Café)
Location: Teignmouth
Working Hours: Full-time – average of 40 hours per week over a year, including weekend and holiday period availability
Salary: Starting at minimum wage and progressing to £30,000 plus bonus

They’re looking for a full-time Trainee Manager to join their busy café in Teignmouth.
This is a hands-on role, working across all areas of the café. You’ll be part of a friendly, fast-paced team delivering great food and great service in a vibrant coastal setting.
This is a year-round position with stable hours, ideal for someone who enjoys hospitality, wants to learn new skills, and likes working as part of a close-knit team.
The Role
- Work across all areas of the café as required
- Support the daily running of a busy café
- Assist with food preparation and service
- Follow Company standards, recipes and procedures
- Support the management team in administrative tasks including cashing up and ordering
- Deliver excellent customer service at all times
- Work effectively as part of a busy team
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Follow company processes and training provided
Requirements
Essential
- Must be available for weekend work and holiday periods
- Enjoy working as part of a busy team
- Willingness to learn
- Likes food and keen on provenance
- Must be keen on sustainability and want to make a difference
Desirable
- Previous hospitality or retail experience
