Talent Finder is looking for a capable and people-focused Team Manager to join our Preston-based team. This is a straightforward Monday to Friday role where your primary focus will be supporting your team and keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly — a solid opportunity for someone who takes pride in good leadership and consistent results.
The Role
As Team Manager, you will take ownership of your team's performance and wellbeing, acting as the central point of contact for both your people and the wider organisation. You will ensure that workflows are managed effectively and that any issues are identified and resolved promptly.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading, supporting and motivating team members on a daily basis
- Monitoring team performance and ensuring targets and standards are consistently met
- Identifying and addressing operational issues before they escalate
- Acting as a point of escalation for team queries and concerns
- Reporting on team progress and flagging any risks to senior management
- Fostering a positive, productive working environment
What You'll Need
- Proven experience in a team management or supervisory role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive, problem-solving approach to day-to-day challenges
- The ability to prioritise workloads and manage competing demands effectively
- Confidence in holding team members accountable in a supportive and constructive way
What's On Offer
- Salary of £30,000 to £32,000 per annum
- Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm — no evenings or weekends
- Based in Preston, Lancashire
