Senior Sales Executive – Events, Exhibitions & AV Solutions | Bournemouth | Full Time, Hybrid Working | £30,000 Basic Salary + OTE £65,000+
Are you a commercially driven Senior Sales Executive with experience in events, exhibitions, AV, or experiential marketing? Do you thrive on building long-term client relationships and developing strategic partnerships rather than working in a KPI-driven sales environment?
Our client is a rapidly growing AV and LED screen specialist delivering technical production, LED display, and event solutions across exhibitions, conferences, live events, festivals, sporting events, and experiential activations throughout the UK and Europe.
With an established project delivery and operational team already in place, they are now looking to appoint an ambitious Senior Sales Executive to drive new business growth, strengthen agency partnerships, and expand their client portfolio.
The Role
As a Senior Sales Executive, you will play a key role in identifying and securing new opportunities while nurturing long-term relationships with agencies, brands, and event organisers.
This is a consultative sales position focused on relationship building, strategic account development, and commercial growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing new business opportunities across the UK and Europe
- Building and maintaining strategic partnerships with agencies and event clients
- Managing and growing selected existing accounts
- Working closely with exhibition and experiential marketing agencies
- Attending exhibitions, conferences, industry events, and client meetings
- Supporting clients throughout project delivery and commercial development
- Identifying opportunities across sectors including conferences, exhibitions, automotive, pharmaceutical, sport, and experiential marketing
- Collaborating closely with project management and technical delivery teams
- Representing the business professionally within the live events industry
Requirements
Essential
- Experience selling to agencies, brands, or event clients
- A background in exhibitions, AV, experiential marketing, conferences, or live events
- Proven success in project-based B2B sales
- Strong industry contacts and networking capabilities
- Existing relationships and a strong network of contacts within the exhibitions and conferences sector
- Direct experience of selling into the exhibitions and conferences market
- Excellent commercial awareness and relationship-building skills
- A consultative and client-focused sales approach
- Confidence attending events and developing face-to-face business relationships
- The ability to work independently and manage your own pipeline
Desirable
- Account management experience
- Experience working for an AV supplier, technical production company, exhibition contractor, or event production business

- £30,000 basic salary
- Uncapped commission structure
- Realistic Year 1 OTE of £50,000–£65,000+
