As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Senior Client Associate to join our Operations team. Role Summary
The Senior Client Associate will play a key role in managing pension administration, maintaining client and scheme records, coordinating with financial advisers and investment managers, and ensuring that all pension-related activities are completed accurately and in accordance with regulatory requirements.
The successful candidate will contribute to operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, client relationship management and continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of client and financial adviser relationships, ensuring the delivery of accurate, responsive and professional pension administration services.
- Coordinate the administration of pension products including PRSAs, Occupational Pension Schemes, Approved Retirement Funds (ARFs), Approved Minimum Retirement Funds (AMRFs), Additional Voluntary Contributions (AVCs), transfers, retirements and benefit payments.
- Review pension documentation and financial records to ensure completeness, accuracy and compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.
- Liaise with financial advisers, trustees, investment managers, insurance providers and regulatory stakeholders regarding pension administration and client requirements.
- Analyse client instructions and supporting documentation to ensure transactions are processed correctly and within agreed service standards.
- Maintain accurate financial and client records using pension administration and CRM systems while ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Prepare management reports, operational statistics, service-level reporting and client documentation to support business performance and decision-making.
- Monitor outstanding transactions and proactively resolve operational issues to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Assist with implementing regulatory updates, procedural improvements and operational controls to strengthen compliance and service quality.
- Support internal audits, compliance reviews and risk management activities by maintaining accurate documentation and appropriate audit trails.
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes, operational efficiency and client experience through continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with colleagues across administration, compliance and client services to ensure seamless delivery of pension and retirement services.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pension legislation, financial services regulation and industry best practices through ongoing professional development.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or another relevant discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
