The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Occupational Health & Safety Coordinator to join our client's established Health & Safety team.
Working primarily on high-profile construction projects at Dublin Airport predominantly, you'll also have the opportunity to support projects across Ireland, providing excellent exposure to a wide variety of construction environments.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1–2 years' construction Health & Safety experience looking to develop their knowledge, gain exposure to complex live projects and progress their career within a supportive and well-established construction company.
Working closely with the Health & Safety and Project Management teams, you'll play a key role in coordinating the Health & Safety function across multiple projects, ensuring documentation, compliance and site activities are organised and delivered to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate Health & Safety activities across multiple construction projects
- Prepare, maintain and manage Health & Safety documentation
- Assist with compliance processes and statutory requirements
- Coordinate RAMS, permits and project records
- Support site inspections, audits and Health & Safety planning meetings
- Work closely with project teams to promote a positive Health & Safety culture
- Build strong working relationships across site teams and subcontractors
- Help ensure projects are organised, compliant and ready to operate safely
What We're Looking For
- Degree qualified (Level 8) in Occupational Health & Safety or a related discipline
- Approximately 1–2 years' experience within a construction Health & Safety role
- Strong construction, Health & Safety knowledge, and relevant qualifications
- Excellent communication and English language skills, with the confidence to engage effectively with people at all levels
- Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and modern IT systems
- Practical, approachable and solutions-focused
- Eager to learn, develop and build a long-term career in construction Health & Safety
- Full clean driving licence
Working Hours
Working hours will vary depending on the project:
- Dublin Airport projects typically operate between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm
- Other construction sites generally operate between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm
- Flexibility is offered depending on project requirements
