NIHL / M-NIHL Solicitor / Fee Earner – Litigation

The Role
We are seeking an experienced NIHL / M-NIHL Solicitor or Fee Earner to join our client’s Industrial Disease team, managing a litigated caseload of Noise-Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL) and Military Noise-Induced Hearing Loss (M-NIHL) claims.
This role requires someone with strong litigation experience, the ability to manage their own caseload, meet performance targets and deliver results within a busy legal environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a litigated NIHL/M-NIHL caseload from instruction through to conclusion
- Handle cases in line with statutory legislation, Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) and relevant case law
- Provide excellent legal advice while maintaining high standards of client care
- Work towards billing targets and deliver results within a performance-driven environment
- Maintain accurate case management and ensure compliance with relevant codes of conduct and accounts rules
- Effectively organise workload, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Work collaboratively as part of a team while managing your own caseload
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Solicitor or experienced Fee Earner with experience handling litigated NIHL/M-NIHL caseloads
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in NIHL/M-NIHL litigation
- Strong knowledge and experience in Industrial Disease litigation
- Good understanding of statutory legislation, Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) and relevant case law
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively and work to deadlines
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Ability to provide high-quality legal advice while maintaining excellent client care standards
- Working knowledge of compliance issues, relevant codes of conduct and accounts rules
- Proven billing record
- Good IT skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
