European Road Freight Sales Manager | Dublin 15, Ireland | Full Time, Office-Based | 08:30 am - 17:30 pm Monday to Friday | €65,000+ DOE + Uncapped Earning Potential
Our client is an established freight forwarding business with over 20 years of success, providing reliable logistics solutions across Europe. As the business continues to grow, they're looking for an experienced sales professional to build on an existing customer base while driving new business opportunities across the European road freight market.
The Role
This is not a role for someone looking to learn the industry. We're looking for an experienced freight sales professional who can hit the ground running, leverage an established network and generate profitable new business from day one.
You'll inherit a strong platform to build from, while developing new opportunities through your existing relationships, industry knowledge and commercial expertise.
Client visits are occasional and will be based on business needs. While the role is primarily office-based, travel within Ireland and, where commercially beneficial, to Europe for customer meetings or industry events may be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business across European road freight services
- Build and manage long-term relationships with new and existing customers
- Identify and secure profitable freight opportunities
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure excellent customer service
- Manage the full sales process from prospecting through to account management
- Represent the business professionally with customers across Ireland and Europe
What We’re Looking For
- 7-10+ years' sales experience within freight forwarding or logistics
- Strong knowledge of the European road freight market
- Experience working within a small or medium-sized freight forwarding business
- Proven track record of winning and developing profitable business
- Established network of customers and industry contacts
- Ability to work independently and generate revenue from the outset
