Domiciliary Care Worker | Reigate, Horley & Redhill | Full and Part Time | £12.85 - £13.50 per hour + Paid Travel Time (on domiciliary care assignments)
Our client is an independent home care provider dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality care to customers in the comfort of their own homes.
They are seeking a caring and reliable Domiciliary Care Worker to join their excellent team and play a vital role in supporting the wellbeing of their customers.
The Role
As a Domiciliary Care Worker, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to customers in their own homes. You will assist with personal care, light household duties, and everyday support needs to help promote independence, dignity, and overall well-being.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and support tailored to individual customer needs
- Carry out light household duties to support customers’ health and wellbeing
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans
- Communicate effectively and professionally with customers, families, and advocates
- Build positive relationships by actively listening and engaging with customers
- Work flexibly to meet customer support needs, including weekends where required
- Follow company policies, procedures, health and safety guidelines, and care standards
- Complete induction, mandatory training, and ongoing development activities
- Continue to develop skills and knowledge through support from colleagues and line managers
- Maintain a professional and compassionate approach in all aspects of the role
Requirements
Essential
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Access to a vehicle would be beneficial
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends
- Ability to follow health and safety procedures and company policies
- Live within a commutable distance of the service area
- A caring, reliable, and person-centred approach
Desirable
- Previous experience in a similar care role would be beneficial, but is not essential
- Experience supporting individuals with personal care needs
