Salary: £40,000 – £46,500 per annum (DOE) + overtime + excellent benefits
Hours: Full-Time (Mobile Role)
Working Pattern: On-call rota required (evenings and weekends)

Important: Working Pattern
This is a mobile field-based role that includes participation in an on-call rota covering evenings and weekends. Candidates must be fully comfortable with this requirement before applying.
Overtime is paid at enhanced rates, including door-to-door travel time for weekend work.
The Role
As a Commercial Refrigeration Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of commercial refrigeration systems across multiple client sites.
Your duties will include:
- Carrying out reactive repairs, servicing, and planned maintenance
- Diagnosing and resolving faults on commercial refrigeration systems
- Supporting installation work when required
- Delivering high-quality workmanship and professional customer service
- Working independently across a mobile territory
Equipment You Will Work On
- Cold rooms
- Cellar cooling systems
- Ice machines
- Display refrigeration units
- Commercial fridges and freezers
What We're Looking For
We are seeking a skilled and reliable engineer with strong technical ability and a professional approach to customer service.
Essential Requirements
- Valid F-Gas certification (including hydrocarbon refrigerants)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in commercial refrigeration
- Proven experience working on a range of commercial refrigeration systems
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rota (evenings and weekends)
Desirable Experience
- City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
- Experience with installation work
- Previous customer-facing experience
- Familiarity with a range of manufacturers and equipment types
