WordPress Developers 

Salary: £20,000 – £33,000, Depending on Experience 

Hours: Full Time, Permanent

Location: Belfast, BT15 – Remote working from home available. 

Our client is an award-winning content marketing agency based in Belfast, Northern Ireland who helps their clients generate leads and sales through structured digital strategy, sleek web design and engaging digital content.

Due to continued growth and success they are currently looking to recruit experienced Word Press Developers to join their team.

The job roles include working with custom themes through to bespoke websites as well as helping with ongoing maintenance, support and enhancement of websites. Our client cater for a wide range of clients from across UK, Ireland, USA and Europe – but also for a wide range of challenging websites. You will be joining a fast growing and innovative digital agency with exciting opportunities for development and progression. This role is ideal for someone who is already has a strong knowledge of WordPress. 

Duties Include:

  • Taking briefs from other departments to discuss website design and function.

  • Developing a responsive framework for the website front-end.

  • Creating the website architecture.

  • Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration.

  • Generating WordPress themes and plugins.

  • Conducting Website Technical Audits and Optimisation for Performance.

  • Troubleshooting content issues.

  • Conducting WordPress training with the client.

  • Monitoring the performance of the live website.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • 3+ Years’ Experience in WordPress Development

  • Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery.

  • Experience in common third party API’s such as Google, Facebook etc.

  • Understanding of SEO principles

  • Knowledge of development processes including prototyping and quality assurance.

  • Experience working with debugging tools 

  • Experience in WordPress Builders such as WPBakery, Divi, Elementor including ACF.

  • Experience in E-Commerce including WooCommerce for WordPress.

  • Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.


  • Holidays of 28 days including bank holidays with it rising over time to 33
